The PFERD TOOLS 855 is a precision tang file with a three-square (triangular) profile: type TH.SQ.FILE 855 200 C2, 200 mm long, 13 mm wide, cross-cut with Swiss cut 2 for medium-fine precision work. These small, handy files are made for delicate components and toolroom work - deburring, surface finishing, edge work, chamfering and rounding on steels up to 1,200 N/mm² (< 38 HRC) as well as aluminum, brass, copper, bronze, zinc and grey cast iron. PFERD precision files (August Rüggeberg GmbH & Co. KG, Germany) hold tight dimensional accuracy from tip to tang, keeping a high cutting rate over the full file length.
