The PFERD TOOLS 810 is a precision pillar file with a flat profile: type REG PILLAR 810 250 C2, 250 mm long, 18 mm wide, 6 mm thick, cross-cut Swiss cut 2 for medium-fine precision work. Pillar files are the flat, parallel-sided precision files used in jig and tool construction - die, punch and mold making, gauge building and fine machine assembly - where geometric accuracy matters more than aggressive stock removal.
