The TK91A is the scanner head of the BK Mikro tool monitoring system: mounted beside the spindle, it measures the tool state at every change via its probe and reports to the BKM92 / BKM93 control unit. When the tool is broken or worn, the system stops the machine before the next cut - protecting spindle, workpiece and tool magazine. The TK91A is the classic series scanner for stationary and rotating tools on machining centres and lathes, IP67-class against coolant and chips within the system rating.
