The VBA40A-04GN is the large-port model of the SMC VBA booster regulator series: it doubles the factory air pressure (up to 2x) with no electrical power needed - a fully pneumatic piston booster that takes 0.1-1.0 MPa supply and delivers a handle-adjusted 0.2-1.0 MPa output at up to 1900 L/min (ANR). The -GN option set adds the pressure gauge and silencer. This is the economical answer when a single high-pressure circuit (clamping, pressing, air-knife, injection assist) would otherwise force the whole plant line to a higher pressure.
