The TK91UNI is the universal scanner head of the BK Mikro tool monitoring system (Schubert System Elektronik GmbH). Mounted next to the tool, it watches the cutting process through its probe head and reports to a BKM93 / BKM96 control unit, which stops the machine the moment a tool breaks or wears out of tolerance - protecting spindle, workpiece and the following operations. The UNI version is the universal-wavelength variant, which makes it the usual choice for mixed production with different tool coatings. Each unit ships as scanner head with its factory box; the goods on our photos carry the BK Mikro marking.
