The A33-40-1408 is a metal balance weight (平衡重) of the A33-40 series from Izumi Kinzoku (和泉金属), Japan. These machined counterweights are added to rotating parts to correct static and dynamic unbalance: machine-tool spindles, grinding wheels, rotary tables, high-speed motor and servo rotors, fans, pump impellers, pulleys and couplings. Fitting the right balance weight at the right radius removes the vibration that otherwise shows up as bearing wear, surface-finish defects and noise. Goods ship with the factory packing list; the dimensional drawing of the series is available on request.
