The HAWE HRP 5 V belongs to the HRP family of check valves with hydraulic release from HAWE Hydraulik SE: a size-5 manifold-mounting valve fitted with pre-release (V = Vorentlastung) to cushion the pressure shock that occurs when a high-pressure, heavily loaded consumer volume is released. Free flow passes from A to B without resistance; in the blocked direction the spring-loaded poppet closes absolutely leak-tight, and pilot pressure at port Z lifts the valve against the load. Because the piston rear is unloaded through the separate leakage port L, opening stays reliable even with residual pressure in the return line. The design is fully steel, with a gas-nitrided body and a hardened, ground poppet for long service life.
