The HAWE HRP 7 V is a check valve with hydraulic release (hydraulisch gesteuertes Rückschlagventil) of HAWE Hydraulik SE, Munich - size 7 of the HRP manifold-mounting family, in the pre-release (V) version that suppresses decompression surges in high-pressure, high-volume circuits. In the closed state the spring-loaded poppet seals leak-free, locking one or both hydraulic consumer lines; when control pressure is applied at port Z the valve opens and free flow is allowed in the reverse direction. The leakage port L depressurizes the rear side of the actuation piston, so the release behaviour stays independent of return-line pressure - and with a flange-mounted solenoid valve the valve can also be released by the load pressure on the consumer side.
