The BK Mikro 6204282 balance weight is the counterweight element of the BK Mikro wand system for tool breakage detection. Fitted onto long scanning wands, it counter-balances the reach of the arm so the scanning mechanism keeps its return force and repeat accuracy over millions of cycles - with the weight in place the wand settles back to its rest position instead of sagging, and the taught reference angle stays valid.
